a walk through the pine trees

I've always had a fascination with pine forests because of the lighting and the way the space feels. This particular patch of trees isn't too far off the path but does offer a nice little getaway.

I have spent time in pine forests laying in a hammock or building shelters but never photographed one until recently.

The lighting here was perfect - the setting sun cast long streaks across the ground.
